On Saturday the 28th August the golf club held its Championship Day, Mr K Wong played Mr S Scott, Mr Wong was the winner. The Ladies Championship finalists were Miss R Edwards and Mrs L Hayton, the winner was Miss R Edwards. The Ladies Bronze Championship was played between Miss S Stokoe and Mrs H Hutchinson the winner was Miss S Stokoe. The Junior Champioship was played between Mr M Wilkinson and Mr M Mossom, the winner was Mr M Wilkinson

The Ladies played the semi final of the silver handicap at Brampton against Windermere, they won 3 games to 2 the last match was won on the 19th hole, the final will be held on the 3rd September at Ulverston against Carlisle. This is the first time Maryport has entered the competition. WELL DONE LADIES!.
